Privacy policy

Cloth Climb LLC (“Cloth Climb,” “we,” “us”) sells planters to customers in the United States. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our website and through email with our desk. It is written for ordinary shoppers, not for a data-science department.

Information we collect because you gave it to us

Name, billing address, shipping address, email, and phone number at checkout.

Order contents, gift notes, and messages you send to the desk.

Account details if you create one (email and a hashed password; we do not store a raw password).

Photos you attach to a damage or return email.

Information collected automatically

IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed.

Cart activity and checkout events needed to finish a purchase.

Cookie identifiers described in the Cookie Policy.

Information we do not collect on purpose

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, biometric scans, or precise GPS tracks. Our payment processor handles card numbers. Cloth Climb does not store full card PAN data on studio machines.

Why we use the information

To pack and ship the vessel you bought, and to tell you where it is.

To charge the correct tax for your ship-to state.

To answer a question, process a return, or replace a cracked piece.

To detect fraud, abuse, or a stolen-card pattern.

To understand which product pages fail so we can fix them.

To send an order or shipping email you should reasonably expect. Marketing mail goes out only if you opted in, and every marketing mail includes a working unsubscribe.

Who else sees it

We share what a vendor needs and nothing extra:

Payment processors, to complete the charge.

Carriers, to print a label and deliver a carton.

Email and storefront platforms that host the shop.

Accountants or counsel, when the books or a dispute require it.

A court, regulator, or law-enforcement request that we are legally required to honor.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not rent our customer list.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and warranty questions reasonably require — typically several years, not several decades. Support mail is kept long enough to finish the thread and to recognize a repeat freight claim. You may ask us to delete an account; we will keep the slice of the order we must retain for the tax file.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the information we hold on you, ask us to correct an address, or ask us to delete an account. Write to support@clothandclimb.com from the email on the order. Residents of states with their own consumer-privacy statutes keep every right those statutes give them, including the right to appeal a denial in the manner the statute requires.

Children

This shop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards. No website is sealed. If we learn of a breach that requires notice under Missouri or federal law, we will give that notice.

Changes

When this policy changes in a material way, we will post the new version with a new date. The version on this page is the one that applies.
