What this site remembers about your visit — and what it does not.
This page is not a lecture about “enhancing your experience.” It is a list of the small files and similar tools the Cloth Climb site may place on your browser so the shop can function, stay secure, and remember a few useful things.
What a cookie is on this site
A cookie is a short text file stored by your browser. Some last only while the tab is open. Others stay until they expire or you delete them. We also use related tools — local storage, pixels, and session identifiers — that behave like cookies even if they are not named that way. This policy covers all of them.
The three kinds we use
Working cookies. These keep your cart from emptying when you move between a wall planter and a floor urn. They also keep you signed in if you create an account, and they stop the checkout form from asking the same address twice in one sitting. The storefront does not run without them.
Preference cookies. These remember a few choices you make on purpose: a dismissed banner, a saved filter (hanging vs. floor), or the fact that you already saw a shipping notice. They do not follow you onto other websites.
Measurement cookies. These tell us which product pages are actually read, which photos are ignored, and where a checkout stalls. We use that information to fix broken pages and to decide which vessels deserve better photography. We do not sell a list of your visits to a data broker.
What we do not do with this data
•We do not build a political or health profile from your planter browsing.
•We do not sell cookie identifiers as a standalone product.
•We do not use cookies to change the posted price of a vessel from one visitor to the next.
How to limit or delete them
Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies, delete existing cookies, or browse in a private window. If you block all cookies, the cart and checkout may refuse to hold an item. That is a mechanical limit, not a penalty.
If a measurement tool is supplied by a third party (for example, a payment processor or an analytics vendor), that vendor’s own policy also applies to the slice of data it receives. You can usually opt out of non-essential measurement through the cookie banner on your first visit, or later through your browser settings.
Updates
If we add a new category of cookie, we will change this page and update the date in the header. Continued use of the site after that date means you have seen the new list.
